The Brioche Lines Sweater is a modern and stylish sweater in half brioche stitch, interrupted with some delicate stripes in stockinette stitch. It´s slightly oversized fit makes this sweater to a cozy and fashionable garment.
 
The sweater is knitted top-down. First, the back yoke is knitted with increases. Stitches are then picked up along each shoulder and the two front pieces are knitted one after the other and the neckline is formed. After that, the front parts are joined and the front is knitted in rows until the required length for the armholes is reached. Then, the front and back pieces are joined and knitting continues in the round. Next, stitches are picked up along the armholest o work the sleeves in the round. Finally, stitches are picked up to work the neckline in 1x1 ribbing.
There are two versions of the sweater to choose from. Either a sweater made of DK yarn, which is knitted with one strand of yarn. Or a lighter mohair sweater, which is knitted with two strands held together.
You also have the option of knitting the sweater longer and with side slits.

80-85 / 85-90 / 90-95 / 95-100 / 100-105 / 105-110 cm bust circumference
The sweater is designed to have approx. 11-16 cm of positive ease at Version 1 and 17-22 cm of positive ease at Version 2, so the finished sweater will be approx.
11-16 cm/17-22 cm wider then your actual bust circumference.
 
Suggested Yarn:
Version 1 (DK weight yarn, one strand)
650/700/700/750/800/800 gr of Luxury Fashion Cotton Metallise DK by Rico Design (125m/50g) or any other yarn with similar yardage
Version 2 (Mohair, two strands held together)
250/300/300/350/350/400 gr of Kidsilk by Drops Design (210m/25g)
or any other yarn with similar yardage.

Version 2: 3,5 mm + 4,0 mm

21 sts x 43 r = 10 cm in half brioche stitch on 4.5 mm needles
